Club Garrison – 8th Grade

What is Club Garrison?

Club Garrison is a bi-weekly club for middle school boys that gives them the opportunity to develop study habits, grow in friendship with peers, and receive personal mentoring.

Schedule

3:15   Van departs from The Heights School
3:45   Study in the Tenley Study Center library; mentoring also provided
4:50 Virtue talk
5:00   Snack
5:15   Sports at a local park or games at Tenley
6:15   Finish; parents pick up from Tenley

Cost

$200 per boy
$300 total for two brothers

Need-based scholarships are available for qualified students; please inquire if interested.

Study hall

Each activity begins with a required 60 minute silent study hall, which is monitored by a Tenley staff member.

Location

Club meetings are held at Tenley Study Center. For directions please call or click on the link “Contact us” at the top of the page.

Transportation

Students may receive a ride from the Heights School in the Tenley van; it leaves the school at 3:15 pm. Parents provide the rides home for their sons; carpools can be arranged for this purpose.

The Center is a few blocks away from the Friendship Heights Metro station on the red line.
