High School Academic Year Programs
Please Note: For the 2016-2017 Academic Year, we will host two Study Days instead of two Study Weekends.
What are Study Weekends?
Prepare for midterms or finals, finish papers, etc., with a weekend of serious study beside the beautiful Chesapeake Bay. The schedule will include several sessions of proctored, silent study (totaling 10 hours). In addition, there will be plenty of sports in the afternoon, and games in the evening. Holy Mass will be celebrated daily, and home-cooked meals will sustain you as you labor through your books.
Apply online. Students must be currently signed up for and attending the Tenley seminars. Fill out the application form. The director will notify students about acceptance to the study weekend on the Thursday before it begins.
Times: We will leave from Tenley at 6:45 pm on Friday and return to Tenley on Sunday at 4:00 pm. On Friday, there will be a Tenley van leaving The Heights in the late afternoon for anyone interested in getting a ride.
What to bring: books, homework, long pants and collared shirts for Mass, sports clothes.
What not to bring: Electronic devices, towels.
